The primary function of our institution is to provide a transformative Christian liberal arts education that unifies knowledge through Christ, expands human capacities, and results in a life of following Jesus and doing the things He said to do.

1.1 Develop a definition of Christian Liberal Arts Education suited to the unique vision of Flatirons Academy and our cultural context. We aim to develop a definition that is clearly stated and easily understood by our families, teachers, and community. This definition provides insight into how we achieve our expected student outcomes.

1.2 Continue to evaluate  all K-12 curricula and programs for their alignment with our Christian Liberal Arts Education philosophy.

1.3 Increase student engagement in visual, musical, and rhetorical arts through additional space and programs.

1.4 Write and implement an Artificial Intelligence Use Policy that aligns with our Christian Liberal Arts Education and maintains a value proposition for families.

1.5 Build on current Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to advance success in desired educational outcomes. We desire to be accountable to see our mission lived out in the lives of our students and graduates through a series of checkpoints that inform our programs toward continuous improvement.

All aspects of the student experience align with a biblical understanding of content, vision for life, and practices. Attending Flatirons Academy makes it easier to follow Jesus, right now and in the future.

2.1 Develop a definition of "Comprehensively Christian” suited to the unique vision of Flatirons Academy and our cultural context. We aim to develop a definition that is clearly stated and easily understood by our families, teachers, and community. 2.2  Evaluate all K-12 students' experiences for explicit and intentional alignment to a Comprehensively Christian experience.

2.3 Develop and implement Flatirons Youth Sports (FYS) and Flatirons Youth Arts (FYA) as a viable alternative to youth club sports and private fine art lessons to support church attendance and family dinner.

2.4 Clearly articulate the propositions, historical creeds, and cultural intersections vital to an orthodox Christian worldview.

2.5 Develop a clear Portrait of a Graduate that clearly articulates the aspirational characteristics of our culture for a life of following Jesus and doing the things he says to do.

2.6 Develop and implement a student “Rule of School” at Flatirons Academy that normalizes biblical spiritual disciplines in student life.

2.7 Identify potential church leaders and connect them to the local church for development.

The heartbeat of our school is our faculty and staff. In an era of upheaval and alienation in the educational profession, we look to create healthy and meaningful work environments to value and equip the next generation of educational leaders.

3.1 Continue to prioritize competitive compensation for instructional staff

3.2 Continue to maintain appropriate administrative/support staff to ensure effective learning environments.

3.3 Develop and implement a staff “Rule of Work” at Flatirons Academy that normalizes spiritual disciplines at work and properly orients our work to our families and church.

3.4 Elevate and honor a professional work environment through school-based training and authoritative leadership structures with high accountability.

3.5 Identify and equip future educational leaders with intensive professional development.

We seek to be not just one school, but a school system that is a default option for Christian families.

4.1 Continue to strengthen our relationship with FCC through shared leadership and resources.

4.2 Expand capacity at Zuni Campus for incremental growth of K5 program, a Worship and Performing Arts building, and additional common space.

4.3 Start multiple K5 Schools in FCC campus buildings outside of the Zuni geographical region.

4.4 Explore the potential of expanding middle school and high school capacity at the Zuni campus.

Flatirons Academy has been blessed by a decade of growth in enrollment, facilities, and resources. It is time to move from short and mid-term planning to sustainable stewardship that can ensure our existence and quality for multiple generations.

5.1 Implement a partnership with Redifined and Federal SSO to maximize revenue via the Educational Tax Freedom Credit (ETFC).

5.2 Develop a Non-Profit Investment Policy to manage current assets

5.3 Develop and implement a comprehensive ten year advancement strategy that includes individual donors, external vision dinners, internal capital campaigns, and ETFC.

5.5 Establish a tuition structure that maximizes accessibility for all families

5.6 Raise funds to build a Worship and Performing Art space on the Zuni Campus, etc
